friday favorites no. 7

This chocolatey delight is my sneaky way of eating dessert for breakfast, without the guilt. If I’m feeling extra frisky I add a sprinkle of Maldon sea salt and fresh raspberries. Admittedly, I’m addicted… I think I’ve made it 3 times this week!

Have you heard of shadow work? Haven’t tried it yet? I created a free intro to shadow work to help get you started. Sign up here and you’ll gain access to my ultimate guide + tools. Happy Friday!

I’m currently reading this incredible book about trees and it will knock your socks off. Did you know that trees communicate with each other using electrical impulses? Or that a tree that gets gnawed on by a hungry giraffe it secretes a chemical to warn its leafy comrades that danger is afoot? Yeah, me either- consider my mind blown.

Next Thursday we have the Full (Wolf) Moon in fiery Leo and I’m going all out. I bought a special sparkly candle that smells faintly of jasmine + sandalwood. And I have my eye on these bewitching bath salts so I can celebrate the end of the lunar cycle with a sacred ritual.

As you might have noticed, this year I’ve been hyper-focused on achieving my goals and upping my game. One of the best decisions I’ve made to keep myself disciplined and on track is joining this challenge. Gary Ryan Blair promises that you’ll accomplish more in 100 days than most people do in 10 years. All I can say is, it has made a huge difference in my work performance so far.

Did you know that you can create an astrology chart for your business? In this intriguing article by Kathryn Hocking, she talks about how you can harness this amazing tool to tap into the heart and soul of your business and discover the natal promise of what it’s meant to do and achieve. For example, my blog has Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 10th house so it finds luck, success and expansion by pursuing higher, universal truths on the world stage.

What are you watching lately? My three go-to shows have been:

1. Ted Lasso– heartwarming, slow build, funny, light, feel-good

2. The Night Manager– alluring exotic locations, impeccable acting (I’m a rabid Hugh Laurie fan girl), James Bond vibes, the holy trinity: characters + dialogue + plot are all 10/10. *Note- It takes an episode to really get into it, but then you’re hooked.

3.  The Bachelor– My unapologetic guilty pleasure is on fire this season! Matt might just be my favorite Bachelor since Ben Higgins. He wears his heart on his sleeve and he’s giving way too many women the puppy dog eyes. I can already tell that the end of this season is going to be a shit show and I am here for it. Episode 3 was quality television, so break out the popcorn and get watching.

Have a magical weekend and share your favorites with me in the comments below!
